As the founder and director of Funraising Sophie cut her teeth producing and directing art and music events in Manchester, hellbent on a mission to promote creativity and reduce social inequality. 
There she succeeded creating safe and fun spaces with themed and decorated music and art events which together raised over 10k for charities such as The Mustard Tree, Manchester Mind and The Bhopal Appeal. She also collaborated frequently with similar fundraising bodies such as homeless charity Love for the Streets and Not Bad For a Girl.
Since then London Sophie has gone on to work in festival production for example at Giles Peterson’s We Out Here Festival and Margins United, the largest ESEA festival in Europe run by international record label Eastern Margins.
